It is said that nostalgia is a reflection of the past with the pain removed. However, I can happily look back at my time working for David Plumtree and Michael Kadwell with no pain whatsover. Although I was there for only nine months, it was a rich and rewarding experience: the bibliographical knowledge I picked up, and where else would you meet such such interesting individuals. Mr Watkin still remains with me. Often arriving at or during tea breaks, he would pop in to the office, sit down and regale us with stories of projects past, film shoots yet to come, or just impart his love of literature and music. Now that I'm a little older (only a 'little'), I have come to cherish those memories more and more. I can still here his oft used catchphrase 'F**k a stoat' even now!

hauteur, sniping, general bitchiness? which of us was guilty of such common behaviour? I guess I might have been guilty of hauteur but the other two, I hope not, anyway. Sadly this is all in the long distant past and I only have good memories of people, so enjoy your books and music wherever you are David. By the way he bought Burneys History of Music (a typing error I guess)
